We're two computer science students at the University of Alabama building a digital layer for the bars and clubs that define college nightlife. HotSpot lets bargoers see what's actually good in real time — and lets them buy cover, line-skip, and VIP passes, plus event tickets, right from their phone.
For bar owners, that means a direct line to the customers nearby tonight. For everyone else, it means no more guessing where to go.

We give bar owners a free dashboard to broadcast live updates, run deals, and reach the customers who are out and looking for somewhere to go right now. Bars keep the full face value of every pass they sell — HotSpot's 5% platform fee is added on top at checkout, never taken out of the bar's pocket.
